the new price of freedom

strike freedom is out
saw it at a local hobby shop
had a nice chat with a malay guy there also interested in gundams

well the price is 198 ringgit
quite reasonable for something that is not pirated (hehe)

online prices are quoted as around 140 ringgit
but shipping rates are exorbitant

dang

From experiment

pangkor

this is very late
(all my posts are late)

well it was fun
thanks

is that all i have to say
kind of pointless then

well the activity i (personally) enjoyed most was renting a bike and cycling halfway (yes halfway) round pangkor.
was fun
and at night too

not many people are stupid enough to do that
luckily i had 18 other people as stupid as me to accompany me
thanks guys (girls too)

now on to a new year.

new year

today is my brother's birthday
so happy birthday!
yay!

have been too lazy to post lately.
don't really know why.

well happy new year

water pipes

damn
i did mention that i have no running water right

well
it sucks you know

that means that every time i need to use any water, i have to walk out to the front porch and fill water in buckets from the tap (big buckets mind you) and lug them back in to the house.

need to bathe, lug water.
need to pee, lug water.
need to run the fucking washing machine?
break back lugging pail after pail of fucking water.

damn.

bloody galvanised iron water pipes,
why the fuck you have to rust?
is that the reason the government bans you now?

so they installed new ones, copper
so that they won't rust

then, we got a new water tank installed on top of our roof.
my dad wanted me to climb up and look at the installation process
that was one of the scartiest experiences of my life.

how man of you have actually been on top of your own roof?

you may have climbed moutains but nothing can prepare you for the feeling of climbing unstable scaffolding to reach the roof of your own home.

no words can express my terror.

frankly, i'm surprised i managed to climb up at all, and get back down.

no way can i imagine how in hell they got TWO 1250 litre water tanks up there.

fuck.

nothing to say anymore.
good night.

prom

dunno what to say
everything that needs to be said has already been said (and done too)

well what to do
posting about something that happened on a monday night on sunday morning is not exactly the best thing to do

stupid me

well, i have had no running water for close to a month now (blame the old pipes in my house)
so renovation+no water=headache+heartache(not cheap you know)

really haven't gotten to sitting down and working on this blog

but hey
the prom was fun.

sucks who am i kidding
i hated it

screw the world man

emma

it's a cool read, you really should experience it yourself
touching really, and it is not your run of the mill japanese manga
plus its in english
woohoo

did i mention it's free?

well, to be serious, some elements of victorian society that were more pronounced in the works of authors of that time are lacking here, but the theme of class distinction and that of a woman "climbing the social ladder" were not uncommon in victorian works. ie Pygmalion (one of my favourites)

also the victorian mindset of keeping a good public profile is hinted at here and there.
quite a good read.

the price of freedom

is around 75 ringgit

yes. at last i can start building my freedom gundam.
bought it in penang for bout Rm 75 in october shortly after the term exams

been waiting too long for this.
yea baby.

the day after

it is over

at last
we have attained freedom

freedom from subjugation, freedom from opression, freedom from servitude.

for a time so long i do not have enough fingers to count the years, we have been a slave to our tormentors, those who the "ministry" have elected to give the euphemism "teacher".

now with the yoke of spm finally cast off our overworked shoulders, we can someday recover what is left of our innocence, before all the worthless 'knowledge" was force fed into our heads.

at last
it is all over

now we only have so much time to forget all that we know in preparation for

the final battle
the one that will last all our lives
