on this day exactly one score minus two years ago, the Great Bean Of Creation (GBOC) somewhere in Stavromula Beta decided to create a bean to be the focal point of all that is good about beans, and send forth his only created bean to Earth to bring some excitement to what is really a very boring planet, that is to say a planet that does not put beans on a pedestal and worship them, holding festivals to celebrate their beaniness etc. why humans had the weird (and abhorrent) custom of ingesting beans to provide nutrition the GBOC never found out, nor did he (obviously it's a he) ever bother to try for fear of being ingested to provide nutrition.

thus it came to be that on this day a human child (a he of course) was born. the parents in their overenthusiastic joy, force-fed him a mashed bean as his first meal (don't ask why)

thus it came to be that your old bean was born again, with a level of conciousness at once many times greater and many times weaker than yours, so they cancel out to make him ultimately ...........boring.

well the activity i (personally) enjoyed most was renting a bike and cycling halfway (yes halfway) round pangkor.

that means that every time i need to use any water, i have to walk out to the front porch and fill water in buckets from the tap (big buckets mind you) and lug them back in to the house.

need to bathe, lug water.
need to pee, lug water.
need to run the fucking washing machine?
break back lugging pail after pail of fucking water.

damn.

so they installed new ones, copper
so that they won't rust

then, we got a new water tank installed on top of our roof.
my dad wanted me to climb up and look at the installation process
that was one of the scartiest experiences of my life.

how man of you have actually been on top of your own roof?

you may have climbed moutains but nothing can prepare you for the feeling of climbing unstable scaffolding to reach the roof of your own home.

no words can express my terror.

frankly, i'm surprised i managed to climb up at all, and get back down.

no way can i imagine how in hell they got TWO 1250 litre water tanks up there.

well, i have had no running water for close to a month now (blame the old pipes in my house)
so renovation+no water=headache+heartache(not cheap you know)
