first things first
exams are over
and i just played 3.5 hours of dota today
feeded as usual.... but was good entertainment nonetheless

oh,
it took me 2 hours to get home from college
2 freaking hours
thank god samuel was there to alleviate my boredom


end of exams....
so now i can start to devote more time to my own interests (whatever they may be)
but i just realised something

wow
i've completed my a levels

when i was in secondary school a levels used to be this huge thing that you move on to after spm
now it just seems like a pile of hogwash to me

but its not the program
its the people that i've met, that made this a worthwhile way to spend 1.5 years of my life
thanks to all my peeps and teachers especially ms lilian who continually treats us to cake..
i hope you miss me bugging you for math questions as much as i miss bugging you...

i have not posted for quite some time.
for those of you (a minority i surmise) who want to know what i've been doing
here's a list

1. finished reading the chronicles of narnia
2. finished reading the entire series of harry potter
3. played close to 50 matches of dota (i counted)
4. played the piano at least 2 hours a day
5. got myself up to date with detective conan (read chapters 300-651)


things i have not done

study

took my muet speaking test yesterday

got some random topic like whether the health services in malaysia should be improved or not

now i just want to rant for a while so bear with me

doctors are the most maltreated class of humans on the face of the earth (don't give a damn about what happens beneath the surface)
especially doctors in the employ of the government

they work 36 hour shifts
get nuts for pay
and they see nuts everyday at work
its a wonder they don't crack (get it, nutcracker, oh never mind)

i think the government does this on purpose
if you want to treat the patient well, you can't just sympathize with the patient, you have to emphatize.
that's why the doctors are put through hell, so that no matter what the patient goes through, the doctor can understand perfectly what kind of pain it is.
this also helps to ease the pain of losing a patient,
if they die, they're obviously moving on to a better place compared to the living hell that is a government hospital....

only a fool will choose medicine as a career

apparently there are a lot of people in my class who chose to do medicine or a related field....
that explains a lot

today took muet exam.
used up all my magic points to answer the exam questions so my post today may be more incoherent than usual.

arrived in the early morning, before the bird even thought about getting out of bed to catch the worm. and this was what i saw...
yes i kid you not, they were marching.
the guards of taylor's college..... marching

draw whatever sick conclusions you want, i don't need to prod you very far now do i?

exam fever
students frantically discussing what might come out just a mere 5 minutes before the exam.
what good will it do you?

oh, the exam started at 8 am, but we were supposed to be there at 7.30 am
waste of time right?

at least someone (you know who) had the foresight to show up at 8.30 am. i swear the guy's a genius! and he still finished the paper a full half hour before time was called.......

during the interval, went to asiacafe to have a bite to eat, when i saw this...

my god, what is that pink fleshy thing whatchamacallit in the right corner, surely something so hideous couldn't be.......human....

but yes, unfortunately it is
moral of the story? don't let a guy with itchy fingers and a digital camera get anywhere within a 1 km radius of your i.c.

after muet, off to sunway pyramid to celebrate hashim's birthday....
but that's for another post, because hashim hasn't uploaded the photos yet
