iron man......... and a short lesson on human psychology

watched iron man today with natasha, suk leng, melvin and koo

was it really that hard to get 5 people to get in a place at a specific time?
yes.... it was

you want to try and guess why?

guys can't and won't be punctual (won't put in names here)
if you tell them to come at 12, and give them a reminder call at 11:47, then they tell you they're on their way...............
translation: i just woke up, didn't consider how you would feel if i was late, and i will lie in any way necessary to keep you there patiently waiting for me to turn up at my convenience/pleasure.
apparently that's how guys think

i don't know how girls think
if i did, i would write a book
and be rich
and certainly not post it up on the internet.

back to the movie

awesome

what more needs to be said
it is definitely up there among the better comic book adaptations like arachnid man and chiroptera man

on with the ranting
how many of you have actually given consideration to the needs of the disabled?

do you park in lots reserved for the disabled?
do you sit in seats reserved for the disabled?
do you use toilets reserved for the disabled?

do you have a heart?

people who were not born disabled but who became ----how shall we put it ----incomplete, after an accident are the worst off.
imagine having to live in a sightless world that used to have colour
imagine not being able to get from point a to b without help.
independent perambulation is every human's birthright.

it wouldn't be so bad if you could never walk in the first place, but to have that taken away from you can be heartbreaking.

i've gone on long enough
or have i..........
